  The concept is really cool. But the food and service is terrible.
  
  First the iceberg salad is just iceberg lettuce, raw onion a couple small cherries tomatoes - it's smothered in vinegar which made it almost inedible.
  
  We ordered lamb chops, lobster and salmon which was barley seasoned and very bland. Believe me you would be better if you make it yourself and cheaper.
  
  There was nothing about the food that would tempt us to go back. My boyfriend and his family has been going for over 30 years and said the quality has significantly gone down hill to the point that they will not go back.
  
  And also the service was terrible especially the tall blonde woman and the owner with the black hair. They were rude, inattentive, and did not seem to care one bit about our experience.
  
  It's a shame that a place with so much history and such a strong following would allowed the quality and service to become so poor.
  
  Really disappointed and hope they get their act together otherwise will lose more loyal customers like us.

  Sammy's is a place I have heard about and have always wanted to go to. I was completely disappointed in the food.
  
  Salad- (if you can call iceberg 1 grape tomato and a slice of onion a salad) was saturated with oil and vinegar. Completely over dressed.
  
  Steak- overpriced for the quality. No seasoning just cooked and placed on a plate.
  
  Family Style Sides- Fries were lukewarm and soggy. Creamed Corn was overly sweet and lukewarm.
  
  Desserts- cheesecake was good, friends brownie was old and dry.
  
  Not a good experience, never going back and wouldn't recommend anyone eat there.
